QA Advisor - Aberdeen, United Kingdom - Sparrows Group

Sparrows Group are looking to hire an QA Advisor to join our HSEQ Team, on a permanent basis. This position is based at our offices in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. Competitive salary and full benefits package are available with this role.Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Operational Managers and delivery teams on all matters of quality management
- Carry out the project specific quality management and assurance activities as detailed in the Quality Plan and as directed and instructed by the Senior QA Advisor
- Assist in the investigation and closeout of quality risks in accordance with the risk management system improvement opportunities where required
- Assist project process owners in establishing their delivery processes and procedures
- Liaise with client and certification bodies as directed by the Senior QA Advisor required
- Coordinate and conduct both internal and external audit activities audits
- Implement and manage operational corrective action closeout through the company continual improvement database (Q-Pulse)
- Provide input and support the subcontractor/supplier evaluation processes
- To plan and lead (as necessary), assessment visits/audits to suppliers and subcontractors as agreed with SCM and Operational operational functions
- To report promptly to the Senior QA Advisor any issues quality related to organisational Quality Management System performance topics
- Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified and retained
- Input to the continuous improvement process
- Provide performance data as requested for reporting purposes
- Audit compliance to ISO 9001/API Q1/APIQ2 standards
- Provide regional support for management system implementation
Skills / Qualifications:
- Proven track record in a similar role
- Knowledge Indepth knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2: 2008 — Standard for Quality Management Systems
- Internal Auditor qualification relating to ISO 9001: 2000 — Standard for internal auditor
- Kelvin TOPSET Investigator
- Able to deliver training on a range of quality Management Systems topics
- Computer Literacy — Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Database knowledge in terms of inputting and search capability
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Able to develop processes and procedures from information provided by user departments
- Able to develop QA Reports from database information and present to internal customers

£44,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
