  • Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose
Responsible for coordination of allocated projects from beginning stages to final completion of project.


Functions


Maintain and Manage Rental Equipment for Projects - duties to include but not limited to: Formulate spreadsheet detailing all rental equipment on site, allocate by project, PO Number, Start & End dates, off hire when project scope complete, transfer between projects.


  • Contractors Onsite duties to include but not limited to: Monitor Reel Modification contractors: Formulate spreadsheet detailing all live modification scope presently performed on site, allocate by project, PO Number, Start & End dates, off hire when project scope complete, transfer between projects. Minimise and log any waiting time for contractors.
  • Support Master Scheduler as required, training plan on P6 to be established to ensure knowledge of P6 plans in execution.
  • Maintaining project files duties to include but not limited to: Proper accumulation and monitoring of essential paperwork including Purchase Orders, Variance Orders, Meeting and Action items, and PDS required documentation
  • Assist and Monitor the entry of Contracts and Milestones for Billing and Invoicing duties to include preparation of Contract and Project Set-Up forms which are forwarded to Accounting for entry. Also responsible for gathering documentation required to kick off milestones and invoice customer (documentation should be forwarded to Accounting in a timely manner)
  • Monitoring costs of projects duties include the weekly preparation of detail activity reports, WIP reports and Purchase commitment reports. Also develop and prepare the cost reports for Project Managers review and assist in reconciling differences in cost to budget by working with applicable departments.
  • Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers as required with various activities for individual projects including compilation of data, preparation of purchase requisitions, maintenance of reporting requirements and other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in activities involving customers, both internal and external, in a professional manner to develop and maintain long term relationships.
  • Must be able to clearly understand and assist in communicating customer requirements to Oceaneering personnel and fill in for Project Managers as requested.
  • Follow all PDS, SOX, or other internal controls to protect the integrity of data.
  • All other duties as assigned by Management

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

  • Qualifications

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Minimum 5 years industrial project experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Primavera and Peoplesoft preferred.


Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.

  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
  • Work surface is stable (flat)
