Administrator - Ashlawn School
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator with a real can-do attitude. Reporting into our Admin Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for administration within the Admin Services department.

This is a hands-on role working to established processes/procedures and without close supervision, other than that provided through working arrangements, methods and procedures.

You will be fully qualified DSL trained, with an empathetic nature, who understands the needs of children.

Part of this role is to partake in our safeguarding on-call rota, so the ability to multi-task is a must.


Experienced in safeguarding, administration and reception, we are looking for someone who seeks out ways of improving their own performance and that of others - a real self-starter.


Main role and responsibilities:


  • To provide full safeguarding administrative support to the Admin Service Team Leader
  • Maintain confidential Student records
  • Organising new student safeguarding files
  • Reporting on CPOMS and manage computerised MIS Systems
  • DSL and oncall rotas
  • Prepare reports, documents and letters
  • Type up and distribute DSL briefing minutes
  • To ensure full records are kept and filed appropriately
  • Be multiskilled in all other admin teams in the case of staff absence
