APH the long-established combine harvester specialists are looking to recruit an experienced
Parts Sales Person to join the Parts Department team.


The success of APH has been based upon an overriding commitment to consistent high standards of machinery and service support.

Originally established to support the combine hire and sales activities, the specialised parts department now supplies directly to farmers and trade customers throughout UK and overseas.

APH are now the UK's largest independent stockist of parts for New Holland and Claas combines.


Parts Salesperson - The Role:


_This is an important position which will include the following main responsibilities: _

  • Make and receive calls from farmers and engineers to provide pricing and delivery information to take parts orders. This will include utilising computerised parts books and APH systems identify the correct parts required.
  • Prepare quotes for the Engineering Department using the Combine Appraisal Report by utilising the parts books etc as above.
  • Use the company's computer system (SAP) to generate quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, reports etc. and ensure orders are maintained and sent out when complete.
  • Source from suppliers, parts as required to suit customer requirements and maintain stock levels.
  • Assist Goods In/Despatch when necessary by receiving and checking deliveries, picking and packing parts for despatch and stock checks
  • Provide updates and support for the online web shop.

_Skills and Qualifications required:
_


  • Minimum 2 years parts experience, preferably agricultural.
  • Proficient in using SAP or similar computer system as a tool to manage the sales and purchasing processes.
  • A good understanding and experience of using machinery parts books (mostly computerised).
  • Customer focussed with good communication skills.
  • Able to work extended hours and weekends on a rota basis during harvest season.

Have you a good commercial experience using machinery parts books (mostly computerised)?

Are you computer literate and experienced in the use of SAP or similar systems?
