Role - Contracts Supervisor

Location - Birmingham

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000

Based in Birmingham, my client has been active in the scaffolding sector for over 10 years with an established client base and consistent work across the Midlands.

They turnover in excess of £10m and project values can range between £500k & £2m.

Responsibility for day to day supervision of allocated project and any duties delegated by the contracts manager.

Responsibility for ensuring projects are running on schedule and all health and safety aspects are being followed.


About the Role

• Supervise the efficient operation of the contract ensuring that company and industry standards are met or exceeded where possible.
• Discuss method statements, risk assessments, programmes, and resource requirements, with the project manager to ensure the efficient operation of the project.
• Discuss possible variations and similar matters with the project managers to ensure that site records are produced.
• Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants and colleagues.
• Must have at least 7 years' experience in the industry
• Preferably have a CISRS Advanced or CISRS Supervisors ticket
• Flexible selfstarter with ability to prioritise.
• Displays strong leadership skills.
• Analytical and problemsolving skills
• Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

BuildStream is looking for a
Scaffold Builder to join our team in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay and benefits package.


Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Pass preemployment drug testing and background check
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours
• Be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam during your first 90 day period of employment
• Be able to pass a background check and drug test during your first 90 day period of employment.
• Be able to work in a construction environment, including but not limited to: lifting, bending, moving objects up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Be willing to work overtime when needed.
• Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
