Description

Our Midday Assistants are important and highly valued members of our Laurus Trust family. They have a range of responsibilities including supervising children whilst taking into account their ages, disabilities and behaviours.

This position is contracted on a Term Time Only basis.

This means you will mainly work when the school is open to students and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.

Job Purpose _

To provide supervision of pupils during the lunchtime period both in the dining area and during playground activities
Arrange ageappropriate activities for pupils during bad weather and support classroom cover during these times

We are seeking individuals who are able to demonstrate our core behaviourswhich set out the expectations we have of our staff.

Key Skills & Experience

Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*C) or equivalent
Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous
Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role
