Description

To work with the Associate Director of Communications & Engagement and the trustees of both Hampshire Hospitals Charity (HHC) and Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity (WHFC), to provide leadership, strategic direction, management, and good administration to both charities.

To support, as appropriate, other charities whose work supports the trust and its activities

To develop and grow the charities in line with the strategic business plan(s) agreed by the trustees and the board of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

To lead in delivering the charity's mission of raising and using charitable funds to benefit patients, support staff and improve facilities.

Together with the Associate Director of Communications & Engagement, enable the trustees to fulfil their duties and responsibilities for the proper governance of the charity and to ensure that the trustees receive timely advice and appropriate information.

To lead, manage and develop the charity's staff.

To support the wider HHFT communications and engagement team as may be required by operational demands, including as a key member of the management team

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 570,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country.

We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.
