Wrexham (with flexibility for remote work)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
About Us:
CRS are working with a dynamic and vibrant local theatre, committed to delivering exceptional experiences.
They are looking for a Head of Experience to join the team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects within the venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all operational services and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of performance.
- Continually challenge and review venue operations for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation.
- Ensure cohesive teamwork for the frontline operational team to provide the best customer experience.
- Implement innovative products across all sales points.
- Act as Duty Manager on day and evening shifts when necessary.
- Cater appropriately for visitors with access requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
Financial Management:
- Lead and oversee financial procedures and controls for operational services.
- Manage bar stock, merchandise, and confectionary sales.
- Support the programming team through various stages of programming and contracting.
Facility Management:
- Work with the Technical Manager to oversee events and facility management.
- Act as the point of contact for visiting companies, contractors, and internal hires.
- Manage stakeholders, contractors, and collaborators, ensuring successful relationships.
- Welcome and support companies, performers, and artists during their visits.
Commercial Focus:
- Ensure the success of all points of sale through team management and customer engagement.
- Implement robust stock control and ordering across all trading areas.
- Manage endofday processes, including cashing up and securing the venue.
- Identify and deliver commercial and community opportunities to exceed budgetary targets.
Staff Leadership:
- Foster a supportive environment, embodying the values of the organization.
- Encourage risktaking, hard work, and creative thinking.
- Oversee recruitment and development of the William Aston Hall Team.
Licensing, Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety statutory requirements.
- Review and update policies and procedures for all operational modalities.
- Collaborate with the Wrexham University Team on DDA compliance.
- Supervise fire drills, provide fire awareness training, and lead building evacuation if necessary.
- Adhere to reporting procedures for accidents and incidents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in operations management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent financial acumen.
- Knowledge of licensing, health, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:
£28,000.00-£34,500.00 per year
