Segment & Account Marketing Manager - EMEAJob Description
This role is limited to end of August 2027.
Is your passion driving impactful marketing activities that resonate directly with end customers and strategic accounts across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)? Are you a business-oriented marketing leader who thrives on building loyalty, generating demand, and achieving measurable results? Is teamwork your definition of a successful project? If so, then read on…
Who is your future team?
You'll join our EMEA Demand Generation team, a dynamic group dedicated to empowering sales organizations to achieve strategic priorities and business goals. We drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and act as a trusted partner across EMEA Sales & Marketing. You'll collaborate closely with regional marketing and corporate functions to translate business strategies into successful, measurable campaigns that build strong customer relationships.
You must to be based in one of our EMEA offices – Paris - France, Ismaning (München) - Germany, Milan – Italy, Rotterdam – Netherlands, London – UK, Prague – Czechia, Warsaw – Poland, Madrid – Spain, Dubai – UAE or Johannesburg – South Africa.
What you'll do as a Segment & Account Marketing Manager?
You'll be the expert in winning, managing, and retaining key end customers, playing a vital role in driving customer loyalty, engagement, and revenue growth in close partnership with sales and account teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Segment Marketing: Develop and implement industry segment campaigns, positioning Axis as a preferred brand and increasing recognition. This involves crafting compelling value propositions with Segment Development and Corporate Marketing, overseeing end-customer events, leveraging ecosystem partnerships, and designing revenue-driving demand generation programs. You will manage marketing budgets and report on ROI.
- End Customer Account Marketing: Partner with Key Account End Customer teams to understand business goals and market needs, then execute tailored marketing strategies for named accounts or segments. This includes utilizing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or segment campaigns, driving pipeline growth, and developing educational programs to keep Axis top-of-mind with key stakeholders.
- Demand Generation: Collaborate with business leaders to identify challenges and define effective campaign strategies. You'll create, implement, and optimize campaigns across digital and communication platforms, generating demand and building pipeline through data-driven digital marketing tools and compelling content. You will also oversee non-digital media, and work with our Marketing Automation specialists for nurturing, measurement, and ROI analysis.
Who we're looking for:
We seek a collaborative, business-savvy individual with a proven track record in B2B marketing, ideally within the IT/security sector. You are a strategic thinker with a strong digital marketing background and comfortable with KPIs and metrics.
Key qualities include:
- Collaborative EMEA Mindset: Ability to connect with diverse regional stakeholders, build trust, and drive conversations effectively while listening empathetically. Diplomatic and patient in building relationships across an EMEA organization.
- Business-Oriented & Strategic: Focused on business-critical outcomes, translating business priorities into robust marketing strategies, campaigns, and measurable activities beyond just communications.
- Stakeholder Management Expertise: Comfortable working with senior sales leaders and BDMs, challenging constructively, and translating marketing to sales language (and vice versa) to align all parties.
- Digital Marketing Expert: Deep knowledge of running digital campaigns, including social media paid strategies (LinkedIn, Google Ads) and lead generation tactics. Familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), reporting, and results-oriented.
- Autonomous & Proactive: Highly self-motivated and autonomous, capable of driving projects and implementing initiatives effectively with a positive, driving attitude.
- Values-Driven Team Player: You align with Axis's values and are committed to contributing positively to the team dynamic.
We'd love to hear that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
- Minimum 8 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in IT/Security, with a clear understanding of the market.
- Extensive experience driving digital marketing programs and tactics.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English) to build relationships and deliver presentations. Other languages are beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, managing multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets.
- Analytical and quantitative skills, passionate about data analysis and performance-based recommendations.
