£45,000 - £55,000
Unify is proud to be working with an amazing Swansea based software company. They provide intuitive and easy to use software to manage and respond to physical security events. They work with some of the biggest names in global technology and automotive.

With Clients ranging from, key critical infrastructure providers, Fortune 500 companies as well as some of the largest cities and counties in the US.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join their dynamic, growing software team. Their product is not an out of the box solution.

They embrace DevOps methodologies providing a team of specialists for each customer including both technical and sales peopleworking together to deliver successful solutions.

The goal is always to improve operation response times and security outcomes. They do this through understanding what is important and automating much of the time consuming previously manual processes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and development of solutions based on provided user stories.
  • Meet development standards
  • Contain appropriate automated testing
  • Meet acceptance criteria (defined in user story)
  • Must be able to break down user stories into technical tasks and deliverables
  • Provide appropriate timelines for those deliverables
  • Understand how updates affect existing system
  • Review other developer tasks and advise on best practices
  • Must have proactive participation in the DevOps process and team meetings
  • Including scheduling feedback sessions
  • Work with stakeholders to refine user requirements
  • Must be able to produce and understand technical documentation
  • Should be able to identify and address where additional support is needed through mentoring staff and improving development processes
  • Must be able to assist the organisation in overcoming issues, taking the lead where necessary

Experience and skills

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 6+ commercial development experience
  • At least 2 years in:
  • C#
  • SQL
  • JavaScript
  • CSS
