Salary:
£24,000-27,000 + Profit share

Work hours:8-4 or 10-6
with hybrid working after 6 months

Job Overview:

To be responsible for all aspects of the transport operations, ensuring the effective and efficient arrival and on-time distribution of products from warehouse to customers across the UK.

To ensure planning and co-ordinating is carried out in the most time and cost efficient way in liaison with relevant departments including sales, customers, warehouse, hauliers etc.

Logistic Co-ordinator Accountabilities:

To ensure that all operations within the transport function are effectively completed to achieve maximum vehicle utilisation, cost effectiveness and that the company service targets are achieved.
To facilitate the receiving, storing and delivery of materials, effectively managing the timely flow of order processing.
Processing of original documents, customs formalities together with all related administration and compliance with procedures and regulations.
Organising on time delivery to customers along with associated administration and compliance and regulations
To liaise closely with the Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service and Procurement resources maintaining and developing good inter department relations and communications.
To ensure that all loads planned have been recorded and dispatch notified at the earliest opportunity to the Warehouse. To ensure all transport documents issued are correct.
To identify opportunities for cost saving and assist with developing effective solutions to realise them.
