This is a fantastic opportunity to work at an outstanding Sixth form College in a role where you will run and coordinate a range of enrichment opportunities and careers events for our 16-19 students to ensure they have a positive and exciting student experience.


Specifically, you will be involved in:

  • Organisation and promotion of a wide and rich 'Do More, Be More' clubs and societies programme.
  • Organisation and delivery of sports sessions as part of the enrichment programme
  • Organisation and promotion of a student volunteering programme, including an annual fair
  • Organisation and promotion of Futures Day
  • Organisation and promotion of a work shadows and work experience programme
  • Organisation and distribution of weekly Student Bulletin
  • Organisation and management of a student Enrichment Leaders Team
  • Organisation and Promotion of an exciting Visiting Speakers Programme
  • Ensuring that all opportunities are of an exceptional standard and participation is high, especially from students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Ensuring all activity is driven by a sound evidence base with a focus on the range, quality and take up of extracurricular activities.
We are looking for a fixed term appointment to cover the maternity leave of the Student Engagement Officer.

Your role is to motivate and engage our students to participate in a high quality, exciting enrichment and careers programme.

You will work closely with the pastoral and marketing teams where you will find a real team ethos and support.

The College was awarded the UK Sixth Form College of the Year by the TES in 2018 and this followed being graded outstanding in all areas by OFSTED in December 2016.

All staff play a vital role in the experience that students have with us and ultimately their success.

The College currently has a 16 to 19-year-old student population of 1400 and is oversubscribed.
