Media & Communications Assistant
Greenwich, London | 2 Year Contract | £26,000-£28,000 per annum | Start ASAP
We are working with a global leader in telecommunication technology who are seeking a talented marketing junior to join them as a Communications Assistant at their HQ in Greenwich, London.
As Communication Assistant, you will be integral to the delivery of the company's communication plans and be directly involved in creating dynamic content that provides efficient and impacting communications across multiple channels, tailored to suit our targeted audience.
This role would suit a graduate with 1-2 Years' working experience looking to develop their skillsets in new environments with new challenges.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support proofreading and translation of various documents and communication materials.
- To create communication content across multiple media channels
- Responsible for compiling information, from various business functions, to be included in local / global newsletters
- To support local event organisation and communication activities
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in the management of business information
- Create, coordinate and drive communications and marketing campaigns, as assigned
- Create, coordinate and monitor press and social media presence in line with Communication strategy
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships across a range of stakeholders.
- Ensure that the brand is always represented in the best possible light.
- Create effective marketing materials for use in a range of media to meet the needs of the audience including compiling a regular newsletter, video content, leaflets and posters.
- Translate business information to a range of individuals with differing levels of understanding.
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree in Communications/Marketing or 12 Years demonstrable experience in the industry in a marketing role.
- Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter essential) and how they should be used for the relevant target audience
- Experience with video editing software preferable (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar preferred) to create short videos for social media and inhouse presentation purposes
- Strong creative and editorial skills
- Exceptional IT competence, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent grammatical and written skills
- Photoshop/ ADOBE experience is also a distinct advantage.
