Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for a full time Sales Administrator to join our family run business, based in Corpach, Fort William.

The successful applicant would be welcomed as part of our accounts team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking team member whose priorities are attention to detail, accuracy and versatility. They will be required to work under pressure in a busy office environment and have the ability to multitask. Previous experience along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Experience with Sage would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.


Duties will include:

  • Processing of delivery sales invoices
  • Process and match proof of delivery receipts to sales invoices on Sage and Mandata
  • Processing of Kishorn Port sales invoices
  • Processing of garage sales invoices
  • Process sales invoices to correct nominal and department codes
  • Match proof of delivery to selfbilling invoices on Sage and Mandata
  • Load proof of delivery notes on customer portal
  • Load invoices on customer payment portals as required
  • Track and process monthly invoice for fuel surcharges
  • Maintain and update customer information on Sage
  • Weekly driver punnet administration
  • Produce overloading reports, standing time reports and weekly loading reports
  • Update weekly job costing spreadsheet from Mandata reports
  • Scan, file and retrieve documents within established filing systems and open new files as necessary
  • Update and maintain spreadsheet data reports as required
