The Holiday Inn Brentford Lock nestled overlooking the scenic waterways of the Grand Union Canal.

This four-star hotel is located in west London and has been created for comfort and style and offers a warm and welcoming service to all guests.

The hotel has 6 modern meeting rooms and 134 en-suite bedrooms; it is the first in Europe to have a revolutionary open lobby concept.

With good transports link, the hotel can be easily accessed by public transport. Brentford train station is about 10 minutes' walk to the hotel.

As a Reception Team Member, you'll deliver a friendly and efficient service; to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and ensure they have a great experience.

You'll be attentive to our guests needs from the moment they arrive, make recommendations, and serve accurately and efficiently.

You will be totally guest focused, ensuring we are creating memorable stays for all our guests, consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly, and effective approach.

You will also use Opera PMS software to efficiently check guests in and out of the hotel as well use the billing functions within.

Reception is the hub of the hotel and excellent communication skills are required.

Role in our Family:

Welcoming guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognising IHG One Rewards Club Members and returning guests.
Answering, recording and processing all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns, record guest preferences in the system.
Communicating any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or followup.
Booking guest reservations for individuals that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
