To support this growth, we are looking for an Enterprise Business Development Representative Team-leader (BDR Team-leader, Enterprise) to oversee the prospecting and nurturing of marketing qualified leads and development of these leads into sales qualified leads for the European Enterprise sales team.

To be successful in this role you will have experience working within the IT Software market and a track record of building and leading an inside sales team, motivating a young and dynamic team and ultimately delivering results to build a pipeline of opportunities.

BDR Team-leader: Job description


We are looking for an experienced BDR Team-leader or accomplished BDR to manage, oversee and support our inside Enterprise Sales Development Representatives (SDR) team.

This job is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and results focused salesperson who is looking for an opportunity to advance their career You will initially inherit a team of six Enterprise BDR's, with the remit to growth the team as our business growth demands.

This team will play a vital role in building the pipeline of sales opportunities for the Business Development team globally.


BDR Team-leader: Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the work of the BDR team
  • Initiating and driving majority focus Outbound Sales campaigns
  • Coach, train, evaluate and monitor BDR performance
  • Set and track BDR agreed sales targets and KPIs
  • Coordinate sales projects to meet deadlines
  • Execute sales analysis, prepare sales reports and suggest improvements
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products
  • Research and discover methods to increase prospect engagement
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
  • Build an opencommunication culture inside your team
  • Maintaining CRM data hygiene, reporting inputs/outputs

BDR Team-leader requirements

  • 3 years of previous working experience as an BDR Teamleader or accomplished Senior BDR
  • Hands on experience with CRM software
  • UK & Ireland client coverage
  • Indepth understanding of the sales process
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or similar relevant field
