The role:

Following a move into new markets, Bullet Express is seeking a proactive and energetic Excise Bond Inventory Controller.

What do I need?

Bullet Express Westway HMRC Licenced warehouse (after Customs approval) will require an international freight experienced person to take ownership of the Warehouse Customs Compliance of Excise freight in/out of our Westway bonded facility.

Delivering a first-class service to our customers and network will be key to ensuring success in this role.

Responsible for all activities and administration of the bonded warehouse facility.
Conduct daily briefings and have clear communication with the Director Of Storage & Logistics to ensure all colleagues are aware of their responsibilities moving excise bonded freight.
Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order and dispatch of the freight as per the standards with HMRC Compliance and ETSF bond procedures.
Manage and coordinate the use of automated systems to manage the workflow and accountability of the inbound and outbound freight.
Identifying opportunities within the department to add value to the operation.
Have knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel to be able to manage workflows of freight moving, create new procedures, standard templates and training files.
Manage and deal with Customs Import/Export shipments and UK Border Force inspections.
Developing positive relationships with colleagues and team members and supporting the Director Of Storage & Logistics in attaining the business goals.
Promoting and adhering to good working practices and procedures with particular reference to HMRC trading compliance.
