Nu-Staff are working with their prestigious international client to support one of their main manufacturing locations based within Cwmbran, Torfaen.

Working within a team the role will produce machined parts by operating and running bespoke CNC Machines.

Key responsibilities will include:

Downloading programmes via the file server
Setup and running of CNC machining centres
Prove out new NPI programmes
Use of inspection equipment to include Verniers to meet tolerance requirements as per Engineering drawings specification
Perform daily/weekly maintenance tasks
Maintain safe operations adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Follow 5S principles to ensure good housekeeping
Ensure own quality of output is met
Work as part of a team supporting other reasonable tasks/duties as requested by Manager/Line Leader

Hours and Pay

- £14.09ph

Nights regular

Sun to Thurs £15.26ph
First couple of weeks will be paid at £11.74ph due to training on days regular (no shift allowance)
Saturday overtime is paid at x1.5 Sunday overtime is paid at x2.

Salary:
£14.09-£15.26 per hour
