NLB solutions are working with a large business in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a French speaking Accountant to join as soon as possible.

The role is to report into the Region Head Accountant France, you will assist with the preparation and analysis ofmonthly accounts for French and Swiss companies to Trial Balance.

The business offers a hybrid working pattern and are looking for someone that is looking for growth. There is excellent support from senior managers and offer a fantastic newly refurbished working environment.


Duties:


  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of journals together with journal backup for approval
  • Maintenance of fixed assets register
  • Provision of supplementary schedules as required for monthly/quarterly reporting.
  • Preparation and submission of internal and external audit tasks
  • Preparation and submission of statutory/statistical reporting requirements

Person spec:

  • Fluent French speaker
  • Experience with French local accounting practice
  • Accounting experience to trial balance
  • Ideally looking for ACCA or CIMA Studiers or QBE
  • Good systems and Excel skills
