Description

Due to expansion, we are looking for a competent and skilled builder for a leading conservatory and single-storey extension building company based in Bradford, Yorkshire.

As a Builder, you will be allocated a labourer and be responsible for digging foundations, laying concrete bases and building dwarf walls and full-height walls for conservatories and extensions.

Previous building experience is essential.

Works will be carried out across Yorkshire so a funded company van along with fuel for business purposes will be provided, you, therefore, must have a current full UK driving licence.

We are looking for a team player with a desire to work for a company that sets high standards and delivers exceptional customer service.

Most importantly, you will take pride in demonstrating exceptional workmanship.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in Groundworks and laying foundations
Setting outbuildings
Able to build up to floor level and lay concrete floors
Experience in Brickwork, Blockwork, Stonework, Lintels and Pointing
Experience in creating new openings in buildings including propping the existing structure and lintels
Reinstating block paving and flags
Flagging
Ability to use power tools including grinders, stihl saws and breakers
Able to install stone heads, jambs and mullions
Cavity trays and DPC work
