Health and Safety Consultant

6-month Contract: £350 per day - Outside IR35

Inverness

3 days a week

We've been engaged by a leading international leader in the Environmental services industry to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant to undertake a key project for the business.

The role will operate across 3 of the organisations key sites in Inverness providinghealth and safety support.

However, the key project will be focused on developing and implementing an ISO system across the 3 sites and then updating the sites policies and procedures.

This role with suit an individual who has strong health and safety management systems and administrative experince, as well as someone who can work well with wider stakeholders with the practical implementation of health and safety policies and processes.

Responsibilities for the
Health and Safety Consultant will include:

  • Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements and answering any health and safety related queries
  • Acting as the key point of contact on any health and safety related matters
  • Development and Implementation of ISO management system for the 3 sites
  • Reviewing and updating the site operating policies and procedures

The successful
Health and Safety Consultant will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar health and safety role ideally with experince in the environmental services space
  • NEBOSH / Environmental diploma or equivalent level of qualification
  • Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
