The Junior Graphic Designer supports the creative execution and output of the high volume of graphic design projects for the Informa Connect Division.


The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for assessing and executing design and production on revolving projects such as social assets, sign design, motion graphics, print collateral and anything related to event marketing and promotion.

He or she will be in charge of managing his/her own work-flow and helping support their Senior Designer with monitoring the overall production (project scoping, pipeline management, project management, etc) of the team's design work.

We are looking for a team player that will collaborate with other designers and departments, execute design work and bring new ideas to the table on how to evolve Informa Connect design workflow.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Keep current with emerging design trends and share innovations with team
  • Executes design projects across various media channels including both digital and traditional media such as ads (print/digital), prospectus, brochures, signs and so on
  • Provides design execution support to the entirety of the brand team and Informa Connect
  • Oversees scale and scope of their individual projects
  • Helps with the production design of the entire team
  • Collaborates with team on project management and brand design implementation
  • Supports the Senior Graphic Designer in the design work for specified business verticals
  • Upholds business brand guidelines
  • Reports into the Senior Graphic Designer

Qualifications

  • Exhibits positive attitude, willingness to collaborate and problem solve with others
  • Communication skills are important must be able to understand scoping work and setting expectations with your SGD and colleagues
  • Must be comfortable working on multiple projects with different teams within aggressive timelines
  • Must demonstrate advanced design skills in tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in matrixed, high paced environment
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple requests at once as well as assist others on the team with their pipelines
  • Experience in events design and marketing/communications a big plus
  • Proven technical skills in the following areas:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Microsoft programs
  • Video creative and editing software is a big bonus
