An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Director to join one of the North East's leading independent insurance brokers.

They pride themselves on their go-getter attitude and professional work ethic.

This well-regarded firm has a fine reputation in the North East business community and is respected for the technical ability of its staff, and their unwavering commitment todelivering exceptional client service.


THE ROLE
As an Account Director you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing book of Commercial client business.

You will identify upsell and cross sell opportunities to ensure customers are given the best advice possible whilst ensuring existingrelationships are renewed and long-term customer relationships are maintained.

It will also include winning new clients via recommendations and referrals from existing clients.


Daily tasks will include:

  • Handling client & insurer queries.
  • Cross and upselling.
  • Proactively seeking recommendations and referrals.
  • Winning new clients.
  • Working with our service and claims staff to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Driving quality, consistency and accuracy in all aspects of the role.
