Tasman Industries is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join our team.

We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of Engineers components, established in 1988 and based in Stourbridge.

The role is permanent. Working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, with 1 hr lunchbreak. To start asap.
Starting salary is £22,672 pa + bonus of up to £3k pa.

Full training will be given.


Main duties and responsibilities

• Picking/Packing/Despatch
• Processing of sales orders
• Completion of Picking/BOM documentation
• Allocation of batches for despatch on system & picking goods to match paperwork
• Organisation of despatch shelves, ensuring multiple client deliveries put together

Goods In
Liaise with suppliers delivering goods, checking and signing for items, refusing delivery if instructed

Ensure supplier paperwork and stock received match purchase order

Ensure goods are allocated to sales order

Completing paperwork as required e.g., GRN

Notify internal departments of discrepancies


Collections/Deliveries/Carrier
Ensure despatch of all goods & paperwork matches

Liaise with customers collecting/returning goods, obtaining signature, collecting payment for pro-forma accounts, checking with Sales team if returns are authorised and dealing with queries as required


Stock maintenance
Complete perpetual inventory

Ensure excess stock is re-labelled & count amendments recorded

Ensure stock is returned to the correct location & shelf position

Rearranging of shelves and re-boxing as required
