Are you a passionate and experienced Criminology Teacher looking for a new challenge? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a full-time Criminology Teacher for an outstanding school located in Hull.

This role is available to start immediately and will last untilat least 31st March, with potential for extension. The payment for this position will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale.


As a Criminology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with motivated and enthusiastic students who are eager to learn about the fascinating world of criminology.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and assessing students' progress.

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other members of the school community to ensure the best possible outcomes for your students.


Duties of a Criminology Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons
  • Assessing students' progress and providing feedback
  • Setting and marking assignments and exams
  • Collaborating with other members of the school community
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress
  • Providing pastoral care and support to students

Requirements to be a Criminology Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (FE)
  • Experience teaching Criminology at the secondary school level
  • A passion for education and a commitment to providing highquality teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other members of the school community
  • A commitment to continuing professional development and staying uptodate with the latest educational developments and research
  • A DBS on the update service
  • A CV with full career History
  • Satisfactory references
