Ridge continues to grow and achieve success in the construction, property, and real estate sectors and we are looking to expand our Retrofit offering.

We are seeking a passionate and focused
Lead Retrofit Consultant with a proven track record within a consultancy background, who is looking to progress their career whilst working in an established team.

You will be based in Bristol, working alongside our Bristol Building Surveying team and nationwide Retrofit team of Retrofit Assessors and Coordinators.

You will be responsible for establishing a Retrofit team in our Bristol office, working alongside other teams across our other offices, to grow our service offering and client base.

A business development mindset will be highly valued as will a network of potential clients within the social housing or local authority sector.

Role and Responsibilities:

Leading, managing and growing the Retrofit discipline
Manage existing clients and develop further opportunities
Look to grow the group on the back of new and repeat clients
Be responsible for resourcing and delivering to a financial target
To ensure that the business generates and sustains profitable sources of income that are serviced to a standard that meets the requirements of the client and the internal standards of the Partnership
Daytoday support to colleagues from other disciplines within the office
Represent the company at external meetings with clients and fellow professionals
Be responsible for delivering work to a preagreed budget
Project profitability (monitoring/planning of costs and budgets)
Responsible for negotiating fee proposals and requesting additional fees
Construct teams from internal and external resources
Lead the technical development of the group

Experience and Skills Required:

Educated to degree level
Experience with managing and developing a team
Domestic Energy Assessor
Retrofit Assessor
Retrofit Coordinator
Experience of managing Retrofit projects and working in multidisciplinary teams

You will have the technical skills, knowledge and experience to find creative solutions for even the most complex challenges and the ability to communicate these clearly to all parties.
