    Piling Operations Manager

    About the Role

    The Piling Operations Manager will oversee and manage piling operations on-site, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project timelines.

    • Conduct site inspections and surveys to establish site-specific requirements.
    • Monitor and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards on-site.
    • Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and other necessary documentation for piling activities.
    • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants to align piling operations with overall project objectives.
    • Troubleshoot on-site challenges and adapt plans as necessary to maintain project momentum.

    Responsibilities

    1. Oversee all aspects of piling operations, including site preparation, equipment setup, and personnel management.
    2. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    3. Develop and implement effective safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
    4. Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily logs, inspection reports, and progress updates.
    5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.

    Requirements

    • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles and foundation design.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Competent in using construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) and survey equipment.
