JOB TITLE:
Business Administration Apprentice - Attendance and Student Support


LOCATION:
Predominantly based at Goffs-Churchgate Academy, with deployment to other Trust schools, as required by the business.

GRADE/HOURS
:
Full Time
: 24 days holiday rising to 28 days after 5 years, plus bank holidays


Core hours: 8.00 am -4.00 pm


Salary:
£10,500 PA


PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB
:
To support the work of the Attendance Team, in ensuring all attendance monitoring procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively and learning


  • To support the school's administration team with general administrative tasks, and in taking queries from students and parents
  • To support in maintaining accurate student records on Arbor

  • Receptionist
  • Examinations Manager
  • Senior Administrator

  • Senior Leaders at Goffs-Churchgate/the Trust
  • All other teaching and support staff within Goffs-Churchgate/the
Trust

CONTACTS OUTSIDE THE *Hertfordshire County Council regarding attendance matters

TRUST:

  • Parents

RESPONSIBILITIES:
attendance, and record appropriately on the Trust's data management system (Arbor)

  • To support the Attendance Manager in monitoring and recording punctuality, checking all registers are complete, and following up any incomplete registers
  • Coordinate rewards for student attendance
  • To support with covering the Reception area of the school, taking queries which arise from students and parents, and advising the relevant members of staff
  • To enter student data onto the Trust's Management Information
System (Arbor)

  • To support with general administration. This will include developing skills and learning in all areas of administration to support future career growth
  • To be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times

Training

  • A level 3 qualification in Business and Administration with time and support to complete the course requirements
