Outpatient Bookings Team Leader
Our Outpatient Bookings Team currently have an opportunity for a Team Leader
The opportunity
The Outpatient Bookings Team Leader manages the Outpatient Booking service including direct, online and contact centre bookings.
As our Outpatient bookings team leader, you will:
Ensure the team deliver an excellent booking service for both internal & external Customers, giving timely and accurate information as requested.
Ensure effective clinic utilisation.
Team management responsibility including recruitment coaching, development, appraisal and performance management
Ensure that staff cover the bookings line between 08.00am and 5.00pm Monday-Friday, utilising PIMS and linking directly with Nuffield contact centre
The person
To succeed as an Outpatient Bookings Team Leader, you will need:
Experience of working in a busy call handling environment
Key understanding of private healthcare, medical knowledge, referral systems and private practices of the Consultant body.
Confident, outgoing, great telephone manner
Ability to build relationships with all customers including patients, consultants, secretaries and GP surgeries
Ability to review and refine admin systems, analyse reports and make decisions based on data
Computer literacy, database and outlook skills essential
Positive outlook to change, ability to adapt, flexibility to working hours.
