Duties:
  • Deliver a responsive and customer focused temporary accommodation (TA) tenancy support service that enables customers to sustain their TA tenancy and successfully move on into suitable secured accommodation.
  • Support the daytoday operation of the TA Service. Help ensure the service operates within legislative requirements and statutory targets for homelessness and pretenancy services.
  • Make suitable emergency accommodation offers to homeless households and help ensure the service meets its statutory interim duty in the most costeffective way.
  • Provide homelessness and housing advice, develop and implement TA Move On plans and help homeless households access additional support needed to move on into suitable secured accommodation.
  • Carry out TA floating support visits and occupancy checks. Accurately record evidence and outcomes of visits as well as timely share this information with the customer's caseworker.
  • Conduct TA letting and property health & safety inspections using the Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
  • Support the service to ensure TA tenancy letting, void management, health & safety, property repair and maintenance functions operate efficiently.
