About The Role:

Security Officer - Loading Bay

London

£12.55

Days only Tuesday - Saturday 07:00 - 19:00
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Loading Bay Security Officer, who will work at our client's premises

You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced -
Security Guarding
The Security Officer is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

Duties as a Loading Bay Security officer

Work in the loading bay entrance and Gatehouse, checking vehicle entry verification and logging
Able to respond to emergency incidents
Carry out first aid response when needed
Carry out banksman duties when required (Training will be given)
Accept deliveries in the absence of post room staff
Carry out any other reasonable management requests
To supervise couriers/contractors and give guidance
Opening and closing of Loading Bay
Report any Health & Safety hazards on loading bay and loading bay dock
To communicate with onsite partners

Job Role Requirements as a Loading Bay Security officer

A valid SIA Licence.
Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred
Have knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI's)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer/Client focused
Proven experience in Corporate Security or relevant role (a minimum of 12 months)
Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
Basic computer literacy required
Excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner.
Be first aid trained, or receive first aid training
