Sales Ledger Clerk


SALARY:
£26,520.00

Our Redditch based client have a Permanent vacancy for a Sales Ledger Clerk.

Working within the accounts department, the role works primarily on the sales ledger and on credit control.

You will be involved in all aspects of these functions and will need to be a team player, working with your colleagues to maintain the ledgers and close the month ends in a timely manner.

You will be asked to assist other parts of the accounts department whilst staff are absent, or when we are short staffed.

Duties & Responsibilities

All aspects of operating the sales ledger

Production of invoices and credit notes

Posting invoices to the system

Posting of cash receipts onto the sales ledger and reconciliation

Communicating with customers to chase debts

Update the cash flow

Posting invoices onto the bank

Resolving queries with customers and processing debit notes.

Reporting debtors to Senior Management Team and reporting on targets and KPI's.

Ad hoc duties to cover other staff holidays and absences which may include purchase ledger.

Skills and experience

  • 2 + years completing the above tasks
  • PC literate including MS Office
