Description
Looking to recruit a shift supervisor for a growing manufacturer that are part of a global group.


Responsible for one or more production zones used by several shift teams, with an aim to produce end or semi-finished products in a manufacturing environment.

Permanent role - based in Peterlee - 3 shift - £40,000 - £44,200


Responsibilities


Responsible for one or more autonomous production zones used by several shift teams, with an aim to produce end or semi-finished products in a manufacturing environment.

Utilising knowledge of production to enhance, improve and maintain planning and quality of production

Excellent problem solving/analysis

Positive leadership required

Communication skills verbal and written

Use and follow processes, instruction sheets and appendices and propose improvements

Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with safety and environmental protection instructions


Experience
Worked as a shift supervisor in a manufacturing environment

Man-management experience

Experienced in following production plans

Adhering to Health and Safety

Ensure the shift runs smoothly and production targets are met in-line with set quality standards


Salary:
£40,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
