Experience of estimating is desirable but most of all we are looking for an individual with on site experience and an understanding of the construction process.

Training will be given to applicants who may possess the necessary knowledge but need development in respect of IT skills.

Location - the role is based at our Leeds (Seacroft) office with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Skills, experience, and qualifications

• Knowledge of the construction techniques, processes and materials involved in the competition of the business activities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Driving Licence site visits will be required

The Role

• Carry out the analysis of received tender documents.
• Checking against client schedule of information.
• Highlight any omissions or errors.
• Tender reviews and resolving any issues that have been identified.
• Prepare clear, accurate tenders in accordance with the client's requirements.
• Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from construction specialists and suppliers.
• Hand over tender information to the construction team in accordance with company procedures.
• Liaise with technical representatives on products/plant.
• Involvement in the assessment of different options and solutions.
• Attend pretender and posttender meetings when required.
• Attend site meetings when required.

Salary:
Up to £50,000.00 per annum dependent on experience.
