Insurance and Investment Lead

Salary:
Up to £170,000

Location:
Flexible - London/Birmingham/South East/Scotland

This is a lead role for someone from an insurance (or pensions) background with significant experience of investment and ALM - e.g.

climate risk, credit risk, market risk, illiquid assets, matching adjustments, internal model validation etc.

You will be responsiblefor managing a team and various projects, strategic decisions, and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

To be considered for this role you will:

Be a qualified actuary with significant post-qualified experience
Have several years of experience focused on investment & ALM (ideally insurance but can be pensions as well) e.g. illiquid assets, credit risk, market risk, matching adjustments, climate risk etc.
Have strong leadership skills and be able to manage both a team and projects
Be a confident communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders
Be someone that is adaptable and proactive in their approach
Have strong knowledge of Solvency II (desirable)
