The Development department is responsible for generating vital contributed income from a range of sources to support Northern Ballet's activities, making the enjoyment of and participation in dance accessible to all.


We are looking for a Head of Trusts and Foundations will manage existing relationships with key trust funders and crucially work with colleagues to identify and match strands of activity with new funders, growing the portfolio overall.

They will work closely with colleagues in Development to support the teams broader work across individual and corporate giving, ensuring a co-ordinated and cohesive approach to stakeholder management.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Can demonstrate significant experience and/or aptitude for working with Trusts and Foundations
  • Who has an affinity with Northern Ballet's purpose in creating stories that connect, championing new and diverse voices and sharing the joy of dance able to translate that understanding into developing a compelling case for support
  • Who is a proactive, positive and supportive team player, who will not only focus on achieving their own objectives, but support colleagues
  • Has an excellent attention to detail and strong written skills
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills, able to build long term relationships with funders and other stakeholders

What we can offer you:

  • Salary
    :£35,000 per annum
  • Annual leave
    :25 days (fulltime equivalent, prorated for parttime roles)
