We are currently Recruiting for aTransport Administrator to join our team on our
Sittingbourne Factory.
The function of the Transport Coordinator is a key customer facing role, both external and internal. They are directly responsible for communicating and administering effective distribution of products to our customers, whilst maintaining a high level of service at all times
The position requires an ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment, communicate information clearly, and keep a constant focus on the work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaising with 3rd Party haulier
- Ensure the load scheduling software is accurate and up to date
- Provide information on delivery scheduling to customers and internal customer service teams
- Provide verbal delivery notification to customers
- Make customers aware of delivery issues
- Deal with haulier and customer own drivers collecting loads
- Deal with inbound supplier deliveries
- Dispatching deliveries and customer collections with all relevant paperwork
- Manage and schedule customer return to works and subsequent stock adjustments
