The Fine Jewellery Company & The Jewellers, part of Jewellery Quarter Bullion Limited, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Jewellery Store Supervisor to lead and support our prestigious Brand New jewellery store.

This pivotal role involves driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and guiding our sales professionals to success.

Beyond overseeing the operations of our prestigious store, you will also be responsible for coordinating with our ecommerce team to ensure seamless integration between our online and physical store.

This means supporting online sales efforts and developing strategies that align with our overall business goals, providing a consistent customer experience across all channels.

Salary
- £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience + Bonus (based on company performance and is paid twice per year)

Responsibilities:


Sales Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and maximise store profitability.
  • Assist in driving sales through effective merchandising, product knowledge, and excellent customer service.
  • Foster a salesdriven culture within the store and motivate the team to achieve and exceed targets.

Team Management:

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising a team of jewellery sales professionals.
  • Support the Store Manager in providing coaching and guidance to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and individual growth.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure that all customers receive an exceptional shopping experience and provide personalised service.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and inquiries promptly, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the company's product offerings, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Support the sales team in delivering excellent customer service and building longterm customer relationships.

Store Operations:

  • Assist the Store Manager in managing daytoday store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security measures.
  • Support the Store Manager in ensuring visual merchandising standards are met, maintaining an appealing and organised store layout.
  • Help in implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Inventory Management:

  • Support the stock team with inventory control and management, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimising loss.
  • Assist in conducting regular stock audits and implementing stock replenishment strategies.
  • Coordinate with the stock team to ensure timely delivery of products and special orders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to analyse sales trends and make suggestions to the stock team regarding popular items.

Requirements:


  • Indepth knowledge of jewellery products, gemstones, precious metals, and industry trends.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per store requirements.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the jewellery industry or as a Retail Jewellery Store Supervisor would be ideal but not essential
