Band - Community Clinical Specialist Nurse - Cardiac

We are now recruiting a nurse with an interest and experience in cardiology.

We are looking for clinical staff who are passionate about the care they give to patients and who want to make a real difference in these areas.

You will work in, and be supported by, a multi-disciplinary care team including nurses, doctors, therapists and psychologists.

Each long term conditions will be supported with a Professional Lead to support with complex cases and to continuously improve the quality of service that is consistent across the patient's journey.


  • To be responsible for organising and prioritising own and others workload in the day to day allocation of work.
  • Deliver Cardiac care in community care setting and provide care in patients home over BHR
  • To further develop BHR Cardiology services in partnership with Key Stakeholders.
  • Support the development of high - quality cardiology care throughout the cardiology care pathways, supporting others to do the same through integrated and collaborative working.
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

Probationary Period

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata).
