Summary

My high-profile Banking client is looking for a Lead business analyst to join their team in their London office on a hybrid basis (once a week on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensions.

As lead business analyst you will Support the Project Manager to understand business problems, critically evaluating business ideas from a customer and a commercial point of view.

Identify underlying business needs to be addressed, challenge existing practicesand ensure requirements will address the defined business problems.

  • Help to define scope and elicit requirements; write User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, challenge business stakeholders to drive out the real business outcomes that are required to realise the customer and business propositions; not simply recording requirements.
  • Identifies shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, then uses established change management programmes to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
  • Coordinates end to end traceability against quality business requirements using appropriate tools and templates.
  • Engages with key stakeholders to influence the solution design to meet business goals, scope, and strategy requirements for the purpose of optimizing business results. Provides input into the identification and delivery of project benefits, traceability ofrequirements and impact of solutions.
  • Maintain internal and external networks to source data and information to enable timely recommendations and advice.
