The Opportunity


Here at Diligenta, we are looking for an Assistant Business Controls Manager who will work alongside and deputise for the Business Controls Manager, to ensure the operational controls are managed effectively and will support the delivery of closure of allgaps and issues identified in the business or oversight areas (Compliance/Internal Audit).

This person will be providing ongoing support to the operational teams to identify improvement opportunities based on findings and root cause analysis.


You'll be:


  • Proactively performing detailed gap analysis in partnership with the Business Operations Controls Manager and Operational areas, producing and assisting in delivery of action plans within target date deadlines
  • Producing and analysing monthly information proactively to manage taking corrective and preventative measures, continuous improvement, and the sharing of best practice
  • Contributing to the maintenance and completion of the control's framework, Ops manual and other control documentation
  • Attending client and internal Risk & Control meetings, providing updates on controls/issues and taking actions, delivering any requirements to Operations
  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure standards are achieved
  • Have evident experience within Quality & Control within an operational work environment
  • Have previously worked within the Financial Services industry, specialising in Life & Pensions
  • Are extremely efficient and have the ability to work independently
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct client meetings
