iThink Media is a fresh, dynamic digital media company in the heart of Norwich.

We're looking to engage with a talented individual to support our Editorial strategy, working with the creative department to grow our monthly digital publications.


Backed by years of industry experience, the Directors of iThink Media have created and established the brand, comprising of two publications, from just an idea in 2017.

Since then we've built amazing, long-standing relationships with some of the most esteemed individuals and companies across the globe.

What you'll be doing // Responsibilities


The position mainly entails supporting the editorial department at the company, offering you a chance to engage in several aspects of the digital media publishing industry.

Editorial support

  • Identify, research and write features for our publications
  • Proofread content
  • Assist in arranging interviews, gathering support materials and researching feature companies
  • Upload content to the company's websites
  • Engage with external PR and communications representatives
  • Align with the Design Team on the visual dynamics of content
  • Work quickly, creatively, and accurately to meet deadlines
  • Maintain accurate information in our systems


In addition to the Editorial responsibilities, we are looking for someone who also has an interest in marketing/social media to occasionally support the marketing department in on-going promotion.

Marketing support

  • Provide assistance in the management of our magazines' social media presence
  • Assist with drafting engaging posts and content, particularly for LinkedIn
  • Using a social media scheduling tool to optimise and schedule posts
  • Monitoring the social media landscape and making strategic suggestions to optimise our channels

Job Type:
Full-Time Mon-Fri (35 hours per week)


Salary:
£20,000


Skills we're looking for:

  • Previous experience writing and sharing compelling content online
  • An interest in the latest technology, innovation and business news
  • SEO skills are welcome but not essential
  • Confident using Microsoft Office software
  • Previous experience managing social media channels in a professional setting, particularly LinkedIn
  • A passion for social media and an understanding of online communities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
Previous experience

  • Essential: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Media or related fields.
  • Desirable: 12 years of relevant, demonstrable industry experience.

£20,000
