The post holder will be based in Weymouth but will be expected to travel to various community outpatient settings across West and North Dorset.

Dorset Pain Management Service are a friendly and highly skilled multidisciplinary team (Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Therapy Assistants and Administrators) who deliver an innovative and successful service across Dorset.

The team are dedicated to developing services which deliver first class care and support to clients experiencing persistent pain, promoting self-management skills, and highly value the role of psychology in this care.

The role includes supporting the delivery of a range of group pain management programs, assisting in the assessment of persistent pain patients using a biopsychosocial approach and delivering psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
