Do you want to be involved in our new and exciting convenience channels and are you passionate about delivering a great customer experience?

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and adaptable individual to join the Wholesale and Convenience team as Commercial Assistant.

You will be responsible for implementing the customer pricing strategy for wholesale and convenience, through management and maintenance of the pricing file, with a key focus on the Asda on the Move wholesale channel.

Make pricing recommendations to the trading team and client with a customer lens, whilst also supporting delivery of the Asda on the Move commercial plan.

Build a rapport with the wholesale client and be the first point of contact for all pricing queries. Commercial support for Asda Express as this channel grows.

Your day to day role will involve

Responsible for day to day administration to support delivery of the Asda on the Move commercial plan
Manage and maintain the Asda on the Move pricing file
Work closely with the wholesale & convenience commercial, merchandising and project teams to ensure accuracy of information and timely resolution of issues
Communicate pricing data to the wholesale customer and be on point to answer and resolve pricing queries in a timely way
Recommend and manage promotions to deliver customer value and drive sales
Inform and improve efficiencies on pricing and cost increases to deliver target margins
Asda Express commercial support as channel evolves
