Infrastructure Development Lead - Manchester


Working within a client organisation, based in the Research and Economics business unit, focused on research and analysis to understand the transport needs of the ever-changing needs of consumers.

Salary:
£52,000 - £58,000 basic + Package


Role and responsibilities:


The Resolute Group are working on a number of exclusive assignments due to the continued expansion of this rail organisation.

This role is being a Co-Sponsor supporting the IRP (Integrated Rail Plan) for the Northern region ensuring it meets the needs ofthe various partners and stakeholders, and the strategic aims of the Strategic Transport Plan (STP).


Leading the production of information, analysis, design and/or engineering solutions that aid the other stakeholders in the production of a successful programme of works.

You will be expected to collaborate widely, internally and externally, and will ensureprocesses and policies for the schemes are developed, managed and implemented effectively.


The projects are all based around the levelling up programme, ensuring the North is gaining financial funding and project awards.

Focusing on continuing to stimulate local economic growth and support the communities across the northern region. By collaboratingacross the various clients and stakeholders (DfT, Local authorities, TOC's, FOC's, TfN and Combined Authorities you will aid in the creation of robust business cases to allow projects to secure funding.


Working closely with Delivery Partners, acting as a representative within technical forums and providing support and input to the other IRP Co-Sponsors.

Working collaboratively in the development of plans and proposals in consultation with the stakeholdersinvolved in the programme of works.

Using your experience to identify & highlight risks as well as opportunities to the key stakeholders and leadership team across the programme.


This is a hybrid position working 2-3 days a week based in the Manchester regional office with 2-3 days a week working from home.


Experience required:


  • Supported by previous experience in the rail sector, ideally in a consultancy or public sector be it Local Authorities, TOC's, Network Rail, TfN or DfT.
