We are a busy legal team serving the GP Bullhound business across the UK, EU and US, and we are looking for an inquisitive, hard-working and commercially minded individual with experience working in an office environment in a fast-paced role.


GP Bullhound is a global investment banking & investment management firm that partners with tech leaders on their mission to build the future.

We have ambitious plans for asset management, underpinning and securing our current tech solutions, doing more transformational technology deals like Essence, Believe, Slack, Unity, Spotify and Klarna, and building out our presence in new locations that enable this goal.

All with the objective of positive shareholder impact and as a tech specialist we are looking at ways to disrupt our own industry


About this Role


We are looking for someone
hard working, dedicated, with precise attention to detail and who is able to project manage a busy workload.

They must be
confident and professional in written and spoken English.


The role will involve assisting the legal team in responding to and advising the firm on legal and strategic issues as they arise, as well as pro-actively educating the business on legal and risk, using software and technology to increase the efficiency of the legal team and the business.

A typical range of tasks that you could expect to work on would include:


  • Drafting and negotiating legal documents, including confidentiality agreements, commercial contracts and client agreements. We would train you in this.
  • Legal research into relevant topics and preparation of advice notes, condensing the information to digestible summaries and presenting them using MS powerpoint;
  • Communicating with prospective clients at the outset of our relationship to obtain required KYC documentation from them, and managing the process of verifying their information using third party KYC software;
  • Analysing received client information and classifying it based on findings, escalating when appropriate;
  • Liaising with external lawyers on matters where they have been instructed, communicating the needs of the firm to them and project managing the delivery of their work back to the firm, ensuring it is in the right format and that it has addressed the areas of concern.
A confident use of Microsoft software (including excel, word, powerpoint and outlook) is required. Specialist skills in this software is not required.
