The Marketing Lead will be responsible for leading a team of brand managers - and the cross-functional team - to develop comprehensive brand strategies and integrated tactical plans across the AZ Breast Cancer portfolio.

The role will also require close working with another pharma partner on a key brand.


As the Marketing Lead, you will be at the forefront of developing brand strategies for several products/indications, driving product adoption and delivering positive outcomes.

You will collaborate with internal partners and key customer groups, ensuring alignment with regional and global plans. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver agreed sales targets and customer value within defined resources.


Accountabilities:

As the Marketing Lead, you will ensure compliance with all AZ Governance Framework and ABPI Code of Practice.

You will contribute towards the delivery of the annual P&L, Contribution and Sales targets, manage budgets, and lead the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans.

You will also be responsible for leading Brand Managers, building strong external relationships within Oncology, overseeing budget planning, and working collaboratively with the collaboration partner to develop and implement brand strategy.


Essential Skills/Experience:


  • Degree qualified, ideally with additional postgraduate qualification such as an MBA
  • Strong marketing leadership with a successful track record of growing market share
  • Pharmaceutical experience in Oncology at senior marketing level
  • Experience of working within crossfunctional business units
  • In depth understanding of Account Planning and Customer Engagement programme and processes
  • Good knowledge of local and international Oncology through leaders
  • In depth understanding of local healthcare system pricing and reimbursement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • It is mandatory for the performance of this role to hold or successfully acquire Nominated Signatory status.
