The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017.
We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London.
These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens.Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
We are now looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join us for a fixed-term contract until October 2024, on either a full-time or part-time basis (up to 40 hours per week).

The Role
As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll be providing safe and fun customer experiences for visitors using the lakes and water facilities across Hyde Park and The Regents Park.
You'll be the first point of call for our visitors, helping to answer queries and complaints and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience to encourage repeat bookings.
Specifically, your role will involve:
- Providing information about the surrounding park environment
- Handling booking transactions
- Assisting with the preparation of all areas for activities and special events
About You
To be considered as a Customer Service Assistant, you will need:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- The ability to build effective working relationships
- Good IT skills, with the ability to use a variety of systems
