JMS Business Support Services has an exciting opportunity available for
a Service Desk Administrator to join a small vibrant, lose knit, dedicated team at Vermtek Pest Control in Watchfield, Swindon.

Vermteck is growing rapidly and is one of the UK's only pest control companies to offer true nationwide coverage.


Reporting to the Service Office Manager you will contribute to Vermtek's objectives through delivering outstanding customer service and have the ability to meet the changing needs of customers, suppliers and internal departments.

You will manage the Vermtek bespoke PestPortal Facility providing efficient and professional customer service support.

No two days are the same but key responsibilities will include:


  • Maintain the integrity of Vermtek's PestPortal System
  • Prioritise and process customer job requests/call outs
  • Maintain regular communications with customers and suppliers
  • Troubleshoot problems and advise on appropriate action
  • Work closely with Vermtek local pest technicians to schedule and prioritise daily/weekly workload
  • Deliver service efficiently and effectively, in line with the client SLA and KPI's
  • Interact with the client Service Desk systems and allocate job requests/tasks to the relevant team and ensure they are kept up to date
  • Closing of jobs on completion and assisting with costing where required
  • Identify and escalate customer queries/complaints in a timely manner
  • Refer opportunities, e.g. new business, to relevant parties if the customer has expressed interest
  • Assist with the quote process and costings
  • Adhere to Vermtek policies including the Vermtek Quality and Environmental Management Systems and Vermtek Health and Safety procedures
  • Report near missies and accidents

Requirements:


  • At least 12 months customer service/administrative experience
  • Knowledge/understanding of general office practices
  • PC literate: MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manner
  • An eye for detail to maintain accurate records and customer files
  • Knowledge of pest control sector or similar environment is desirable but not essential
