About us
My Life is a charity providing individualised support to a wide range of people in the North West.

We are seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant / Support Worker to work alongside our team to provide personalised support to a young man who lives in Darwen.

The role will enable you to develop a wide range of skills which will enable this young man to live the best life possible.

From your perspective it will enhance your career, you will gain experience working with an individual with mental health, learning difficulties and autism.

We provide excellent terms and conditions for an outstanding individual.


What you'll need to succeed


In order to succeed, you will be confident, kind-hearted and wanting to make a positive difference to this young man's life, enhancing his day and enabling him to make connections in his local community.

Ideally, you will have experience working as a Personal Assistant / Support Worker with individuals with mental health issues and social care needs.

You will be self-motivated, flexible and have the ability to use your own initiative whilst being caring and sensitive to the needs of others.

You will be available to work waking nights during the week and alternate weekends. You will hold a full driving licence.

We are building a new team so there are a number of full and part time positions with waking night shift patterns.

The salary on offer is up to £13.05 per hour for waking night (dependent upon experience) plus a competitive benefits package.
